A Look Back at the World of Stewpendous Trivia in July:
July started where all of Chicago loves to be in the summertime...outdoors!
Specifically, the beautiful rooftop of Streeterville Social for the 2nd Annual We Drink Pink Trivia shows at the Loews Hotel. This month, I also helped celebrate love when I had the opportunity to be the emcee (and delivery man of music beats) for the sweetest pair of love birds.
In addition to our classic trivia shows, we celebrated our favorite things with specific themed shows, such as Superheroes, Glee, Lollapalooza, and the movies of John Hughes. We have a different themed trivia catalogue every month. I swear there will always be something out there that will tickle your fancy. If you're not already, follow us on Instagram and you won't miss out!
We ended July with a fabulous fundraiser trivia show for the Chicago Film Fest. It was called Genre Jam, which was a huge celebration of our favorite film genres.
They say to celebrate the little things, and we are doing just that with our brand new Mystery Tchotchke Prize Bags and fabulous collection of Stewpendous Productions stickers. Next time you come to a show, be sure to ask for one!
FUN FACT OF THE MONTH!
The Jetsons was set in the year 2062 when George Jetson was 40 years old. This means he was born in 2022, making him 3 years old on his birthday, July 31st, 2025.
Upcoming Stewpendous Chicago Trivia in August!
August is starting strong with our Sunday Funday Music Bingo Show at Punchbowl Social in Fulton Market. This week is our Big Lollapalooza Bingo Show! All the themes are based on acts that have played at Lollapalooza.
The month is going to be filled with a lot of exciting opportunities for our customized trivia and game experiences. We're still celebrating Streeterville Social We Drink Pink Wednesdays all of August, with themes like Disney Princesses, 2000s Trivia, and Summer In Chicago! Come down and enjoy a drink on the rooftop!
Have we told you lately? We love creating customized trivia. Either it tells the story of someone being celebrated for a major event, or you're putting on a fundraiser to raise important funds. Sparkle Squad Spotlights!
I would like to take this spotlight opportunity to express my gratitude to the Sparkle Squad for really stepping up big in July. We had many of our Sparkles living out their dreams in auditions, rehearsals, shows, and one even taking a summer sabbatical in London! Scheduling was tough, but Olivia helped out and kept it all together. So many of the Sparkle Squad stepped into shows to make sure quizzical good times were delivered to all of you fabulous Love Biscuits that join us every week.
We appreciate you so much, and we're so glad to have you on the Sparkle Squad!

Stewpendous Productions firmly believes that trivia is always better when snacks are involved. Every month, we’ll give you a fun, nostalgic recipe that will awaken your memories!

August 2nd is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day!
We love the classic chocolate soft wafer and gelatinous vanilla ice cream sandwich, but I think we deserve to go big!! So here is what we suggest:
Invite your friends over for a party and have a Build-Your-Own Ice Cream Sandwich Buffet!
Here is what you’ll need for this most epic friends hangout moment …
Ingredients
2 to 3 types of freshly-baked cookies (Chocolate chip is a must)
2 to 3 types of ice cream flavors (make sure it’s right at the perfect soft texture for easy spreading)
And the fixins': Sprinkles, Chopped Nuts, M&M Minis, Etc. It's up to your beautiful imagination!
Directions:
Pile the cookies high up on a plate! Take your cookie, slather a big scoop of ice cream on it, and then sandwich it with another cookie. Once the sandwich is assembled, roll it in your favorite fixings to coat the entire outer ring of the ice cream for the ultimate ice cream sandwich experience!
