Whimsical Weekly Wrap-up
Greetings, Love Biscuits!
Welcome to the Stewpendous Whimsical Weekly Wrap-up!
We're going to dive a little deeper into our nerdy love of research and information. You see, after our shows during the week, we get follow-up questions about some of the rounds or specific questions in our trivia shows. Stew is a natural rambler and admits he nerds out a bit too much on certain questions, writing fun, interesting lead-ins. He realizes just because he thinks it’s super interesting doesn’t mean it needs to be shared. He’s working on it! 😁
We wanted to find a fun and fascinating way to continue the conversation from our trivia shows. Our Wrap-up will provide additional information, highlight some of our favorite moments of the week, and prove we didn’t just make up the wacky stories Stew finds when he is writing the show.
What Folks Are Talking About
In round one of our trivia games, we tell you it’s about the absurd, the delicious, and the "Who asked for this"? of it all, and sometimes they are so absurd we need to show the receipts that we aren’t making this stuff up. So here ya go, Love Biscuits: more information about the four ridiculous things folks are talking about this week.
What 1996 movie, perfect for this time of year, is getting its own line of Bratz Dolls?
– The Craft
Have you recently eaten a chicken wing and wished it was covered in a glaze made from your favorite candy? Wing Stop is making your dreams a reality. What candy are they partnering with for a Halloween Redberry glaze topped with actual candy bits? – Sour Patch Kids
Just in time for Halloween, McDonald's is releasing a fan favorite container with a Disney Villains upgrade. What can you purchase at your neighborhood McD’s while supplies last?
— The classic Boo Bucket (this year each has an iconic Disney Villain Theme)
A big story lots of people have been following has all the makings for a big movie. A remote island in the Pacific, giant flesh-eating crabs, and a mission to solve a great mystery: What happened to Amelia Earhart’s Plane that went missing 89 years ago? Unfortunately, it was not her missing plane. What did they actually find in the water?
— A bunch of fallen trees — The Mystery Continues
Leslie's Favorite Questions
This section of The Whimsical Weekly Wrap-Up is to answer the big question:
Who is Leslie?
Leslie takes Stew’s crazy ideas and turns them into awesome activity sheets; she also assembles every music bingo sheet every week. Her other big responsibility is providing an extra set of eyes to review every show before we put it out for you to enjoy. Since Leslie reviews every show, we thought it was only right that she got to share her favorite questions from the week.
First of all, WHAT? I never knew about this, literally my entire life.
Which Candy Bar was named after a beloved racehorse of a Candy Tycoon?
I had to put in the video! Magnificent Marvelous Mad Madam Mim! What a fun and easy Halloween costume...eh?
During the Wizards' Duel, she transforms into a variety of animals, from a Crocodile to a pink dragon, against Merlin. Who is it? - Madam Mim in The Sword in The Stone
My last video here isn't a question, but a advertisement for next weeks Halloween shows! We have a bunch going on, and I think there are plenty of reasons to go to a trivia or music bingo show!
Favorite Moment of the Week!
We want to conclude our weekly whimsical wrap-up with some favorite moments of the week, our favorite doodles you doodled, and share fun and magical moments that took place.
This week we ended our residency at Gallagher Way. I would like to thank Mother Nature for providing perfect weather every single Tuesday that we had a show...since May! And an enormous bucket of gratitude to all the Love Biscuits who came out, joined the Stewville community, and getting quizzical with us.
This officially wraps up the week! We are already working on next week’s quizzical good times for you to enjoy with your bestie boos.
We love being a part of your community and having you a part of ours. If you have a topic you would love to see at a future show, send us a DM on Instagram!
Watch that video above, everything is at least a little bit spooky this next week.
We've also got these specific themed shows: Sidetrack - Scream - Tuesday at 8pm
Replay Andersonville - Horror Movie Mayhem - Wednesday at 7pm
